Bonehunters Quarry
Experience a paleontological excavation!

For grades 5 and under
Watch your group transform into a team of paleontologists digging for dinosaur and mammal fossils in a setting straight out of Dinosaur National Monument. Children wear goggles and are given tools to help in their search. museum staff interpret the experience and help identify finds.

Scheduling
Weekdays, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Reservations may be made for 30-minute sessions. One group may use the Quarry during each 30-minute session

Required Chaperones
Pre-K and Kindergarten: One adult per five children
Grades 1 and up: One adult per ten children

Fee
